Our latest release empowers our clients with an affordable and supportable eCommerce solution based on the integration expertise of Kosmos Central, a Portland, Oregon based company specializing in eCommerce integration.
Kosmos Central provides an important integration tool between ERP systems, like our Merchant Plus! as well as Microsoft’s Retail Management System©, and multiple eCommerce shopping cart solutions. Their tool allows us to write a single program, yet support multiple shopping carts. Currently, this flexibility allows us to support both X-Cart© and Magento Enterprise© for which we have beta installations coming on-line soon. An eBay© integration also currently exists and we hope to have a more complete Amazon.com© solution ready early next year with more cart options to follow.
Our eCommerce integration is based on two very critical advanced technology tools from Kosmos: eSync© and their Image Utility©.
eSync©
Kosmos Central’s eSync© software is the heart of the solution as it translates inventory definitions, prices and on hand values directly from Merchant Plus into the language understood by each of the shopping carts.
- Publish new products when they become available.
- Update prices and available inventory as they change.
- Translate Web Orders so they can be integrated with all our merchandise management tools.
- Manage the removal of products on demand and as they sell out.
- Updates as frequently as needed.
Image Utility©
Kosmos’ Image Utility© will transfer (via FTP) images from the Merchant Plus! database to the web site. The resulting images are consistently sized and shaped as quality thumbnail images are automatically generated. All using the same images that can be stored and managed within Merchant Plus. Unique images by color are also supported.
Free Hosting
As the eSync software resides on a cloud server, Kosmos Central also includes free shared hosting with any eCommerce store (using X-Cart, only).
