When marking down merchandise, these colorful tags will save the store time and help customers easily identify sale merchandise. This capability has been in Merchant Plus! for years, but we have finally found a reasonably priced supplier for readable color tags – we’ve also called “addendum” tags because they are designed to be added to the existing original tag instead of replacing them.
Time is saved because replacement tags don’t need to be remarked and worse yet, identified by SKU (using a different tag for each color and size). Instead only one tag is needed for many SKUs based on the common price factor such as Style, Style/Color or even a broader merchandising group. Instead of replacing existing tag. these sticker tags wrap around the bottom of existing hang tags. When an entire style is marked down to the same price, the only thing needed on these tags is a style code and the new price to properly identify the merchandise on the floor for marking.
Customers can easily identify sale items with the bright colors. Product group identification on the back makes remarking easier!
