Smyth Retail is happy to announce support (in version 5.2) for the Ingenico iSC250 Payment Terminal with electronic signature capture for EMV processing using chip cards.
Like, the Verifone VX 805 (which doesn’t support signature capture) it offers the highest security by combining End to End encryption with EMV processing. It has a large, easy to read 4.3″ 16/9 capacitive color touchscreen and the displayed lead through for the customers is easy to follow and not confusing like so many of the solutions on the market. It’s compact and low profile design is well suited for the specialty store environment and includes options for accessories such as stands if desired.
While programming access to encrypted devices is restricted for security purposes, this solution does support electronic signature capture for tenders other than bankcards. The iSC250 can be used for private label or in-house charge accounts or any tender where a signature is needed.
Note: Remote connections require a bandwidth speed (the minimum of Up/Down transfers) of at least 5MPS to function properly.
