All the Zebra tag printers have been reliable and the LP2824 is still supported. There is no need to replace existing printers, but if you are thinking about a new one, this is a great option. Its compact design is ideal for minimizing space at the receiving desk. While most will use the USB interface it can be ordered with Serial, Ethernet or even Wireless.
